First Transgender School in India

India's first transgender school named "Sahaj international" school opened at the Kerala state in the southern India  is run by six transgender activists. At 30 December 2016, the school is inaugurated by transgender activist, writer and actor Kalki Subramaniam at Thrikkakara in Kerala's Ernakulam district.
This alternative learning centre works with collaboration by the National Institute of open schooling (NIOS). This school helps the transgender adults who dropped out the school to finish their education. the curriculum of this school will also include some vocational skills. In this school, teachers are also transgender.

Joyita Mondal- Joyita Mondal is India's first transgender judge at an age of 29. She becomes the first judge as she was appointed at Lok Adalat in North Bengal in October 2017. She also closely working for transgender rights organisations.

Sathyasri Sharmila- Sathyasri Sharmila become  India's first transgender lawyer. Shunning and stereotypical mindset behind, she set an example by pursuing law so that she can fight against the injustice. In the age of an 18th year, She was studied law by a government college between 2004 to 2007. She was enrolled name in Bar Council Of Tamil Nadu And Puducherry.

Manabi Bandopadhyay- Manabi Bandopadhyay is India's first transgender person become the first transgender College principal of Krishnanagar women's college on June 7, 2015. She also the first transgender person in India who has completed Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). At Vivekananda Satobarshiki Mahavidyalaya, She was an associate professor in Bengali.

Shabi- Shabi is India's first transgender soldier. She joined Marine engineering department of the eastern naval command. She joined the naval base in Visakhapatnam after she had sex reassignment surgery in 2016 in Delhi. After the surgery, she joined the naval base in Vishakhapatnam.

Nitasha Biswas- Nitasha Biswas 26-year old from Kolkata made history she became the first trans-woman to bag Miss Trans queen India 2017 title at a beauty pageant in Gurgaon.
