Location of Gay Pride San Francisco 2019
Gay Pride San Francisco is the world leader in the pride movement. This is also a grant-giving
organization through our Community Partners Program. This painting event is an element of the
material of Pride celebrations around the globe. Every Celebration associated Parade offers a historic
moment in our journey to full equality. Not solely can we use these moments to teach, celebrate,
commemorate, and continue our struggle for true liberation; but we also raise much-needed funds for
fellow non-profits in the Bay Area. Since 1997, this has awarded over $2.5 million dollars from proceeds of the Pride Celebration and Parade to local non-profit LGBT organizations and those organizations working on issues related to HIV/AIDS, cancer, homelessness, and animal welfare. The annual budget to provide the Celebration and Parade is predicted to exceed $3M in 2018. At our core, we tend to believe the pageant and parade ought to be cheap and accessible for everybody in our various communities.
